Dynabook: notebooks Satellite Pro C40-K and Pro C50-K
Dynabook Europe has introduced two new laptops in the Satellite Pro C series: the 14" Satellite Pro C40-K and the Satellite Pro C50-K with a 15.6" display. Both new products are equipped with the latest 12th generation Intel Core processors and offer the performance and productivity needed combined with a modern design at an affordable price.
Together with the previously introduced 13" Satellite Pro C30-K, this product line now includes a complete range of laptops for SMB and education needs.

Designed for mobile use and style
Maximizing the mobility of the Satellite Pro C40-K and C50-K models is aided by a slim and lightweight chassis that accentuates the sleek dark blue design. The Satellite Pro C40-K is just 18.75mm thin, and depending on the design, weight starts at just 1.36kg. The larger C50-K is only slightly thicker (18.95 mm) and weighs from 1.52 kg. The surface of the devices, keyboards and clickpads are treated with an antibacterial layer that prevents the adhesion of potentially harmful bacteria with an effectiveness of up to 99.9%.
Performance and connectivity
The new laptops do not compromise on high performance or connectivity requirements, despite their affordability. The latest 12th Generation Intel Core processors are complemented by up to 32GB of DDR4 3,200MHz RAM and PCIe SSDs with up to 1TB of capacity. The laptops are equipped with three-cell 45Wh batteries that provide nearly eight hours of battery life.
The Satellite C40-K and C50-K were also designed with collaboration and productivity in mind. The display lid can be opened up to 180 degrees so users can easily share content and work as a team. Both devices offer a range of ports including USB-C 3.2, USB-A 3.2, HDMI, RJ45 connector and Micro SD card slot. Wireless network connectivity is provided by a WiFi 6 802.11 AX adapter.
The latest additions to the Satellite Pro C series also offer audio-visual and conferencing features for work and remote communication. An HD webcam, stereo speakers and headphone/microphone jack allow for clear connections via video conferencing, while Realtek AI tools eliminate unwanted background noises for both users and remote meeting participants, ensuring a pleasant audiovisual experience even in busy environments.
Advanced security features for SMBs and schools
Cybersecurity threats are constantly evolving and many businesses and educational institutions are looking for robust and secure endpoint devices. The new ones offer strong security features such as the firmware-based Trusted Platform Module (fTPM) 2.0, which enables encryption of all data stored on the device, minimising the risk of leakage and misuse even if the device is lost or stolen.
Security against unauthorised access is enhanced by an optional integrated camera with facial recognition or biometric fingerprint reader. A sliding webcam cover provides greater security with regard to privacy, and a built-in security lock slot reduces the risk of laptop theft.
